Speculation was confirmed today as Stoke's squad was further strengthened by Gareth Davis' arrival from the collapsed Clyst Rovers. The athletic left footed midfielder has served time with AFC Dartmouth and Cullompton Rangers prior to Clyst and comes on the back of managerial promises to improve the size and quality of the squad to cope with the end of season fixture congestion. As the transfer deadline looms and the run in begins, it is hoped Davis' addition amounts to a signal of intent.
